Sustainability

Fabricut are fully committed to being a sustainable and environmentally friendly company and are doing as much as we can to improve on this year-on-year.

Sustainable Sign Materials

All our wooden fabricated signs are made from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certified materials. We hope to use more recyclable materials in the future as they become available.

90% of our sheet material products are sourced from UK producing companies such as Perspex and AluPanel . This creates less environmental impact compared to importing from abroad.

We are dedicated in only sourcing products from suppliers that are focused on manufacturing in a sustainable way. Using renewable energies, lowering CO2 emissions and who avoid, reuse or recycle the packaging of their products.

The Fabricut Website

Even our website, the one you’re looking at right now (built by Force Ninel ) is eco-friendly, with servers powered by 100% renewable energy. As Force Nine’s studio is solar powered, even the design process of our website achieved a zero carbon score.

WEEE & Recycling Waste

Where possible, all tools and administrative IT equipment used by Fabricut are sent off for recycling at the end of their lifecycle; fully complying with the WEEE Directive .

At present, we’re only able to recycle some of our sign production wasted materials. However, we are investigating options for our “off cuts” and currently unrecyclable waste material, such as biomass or up-cycling.

The Sign Fitting Future is Electric

We’re patiently waiting for the development of suitable electric commercial vehicles for our professional trade sign fitters to use.

Unfortunately, we feel there’s nothing quite appropriate on the market yet, but we’re hopeful and ready to make the investment when the time comes.

Think We Can Improve?

We’re always looking at ways to improve our company’s environmental impact. If you have any suggestions then please do let us know, we’re ready to do our bit.
